Located on the Norfolk coast between the town’s of Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft, Pleasurewood Hills is a superb theme park that offers a greats election of exhilarating rides with something to suit all ages.

Exhilarating Rides
Do you want to travel from 0-60mph in less than 1 second? Of course you do, who wouldn’t? So check on the exhilarating Jolly Roger ride, which will launch you straight up towards the sky at 60feet per second. Prefer rollercoasters? No problem. Wipeout is the largest and fastest rollercoaster in East Anglia, so you won’t be disappointed and there is also Enigma, another fantastic rollercoaster that’s definitely worth trying out. Other exhilarating rides include The Fireball, The Tide Traveller and Timber Falls.

Family Rides
If you fancy something a little less intimidating then the selection of family rides make the perfect choice. One of the most popular rides which is also great for younger children is the Snake in the Grass rollercoaster. Sit back and enjoy the not-so-scary ride as your taken around loops and through tunnels. Shiver M’ Timbers is a huge pirate ship that swings from stern to bow, which may sound scary but it’s also suitable to children measuring 1m and over in height. There are also chairlifts, go karts, a carousel and water based rides that include the Wave Breaker and Tales of the Coast ride. There are also nine rides specifically designed for small children and there are also a number of live shows throughout the day.

Food & refreshments
Don’t forget that you’ll be right on the coast, so why not pay a visit to The Flying Fish and treat yourself to some traditionally tasty fish and chips! It’s a great place to sit down & take a break but if you want to keep exploring the park, simply order yours to go. The Merry Mariner is the largest restaurant on site and offers an impressive selection of varied dishes, so no matter how fussy the family might be, you’re sure to find something suitable on the menu. There’s a great selection of beverages available also that include both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. The restaurant also boasts a terrace where you can sit and watch the little ones have fun on the playground. If you skipped breakfast to get to the park early, there’s no need to worry, as Porkies Pantry serves hot & cold drinks, as well as a selection of snacks including bacon rolls and the very popular hot dogs that will give you the energy needed to enjoy the rides to the max! To keep you fuelled throughout the day, take advantage of the Railway Tea Rooms where you can sit down & enjoy a cup of tea or coffee.

Shops & such
As well as great rides, restaurants and cafes, you will also have a good selection of shops that offer a range of treats. The Emporium and Main Street Gift Shop both house a selection of fantastic souvenirs and handy items, as well as tasty sweets. If you want an overwhelming choice of irresistible sweets then Woody’s Candy Cabin is the place for you, as there’s no space wasted on things that aren’t sweets!
